He is a lecturer for building physics at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and trainer for building physics and energy efficiency in buildings within the educational program for master builders and timber professionals at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. Mr. Buxbaum is Member of the IBPSA – International Building Performance Simulation Association and Expert Member of the Working Committee 214 of the Austrian Standards Institute.

Beside his work in science, Christoph is also owner of an architectural office, consultant and authorized expert for building physics, architecture and building construction.
Christoph has a master degree in architecture and a PhD degree for technical sciences from the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

Dr. Buxbaum will speak in April from the 12 to the 14th in Portland Oregon 12. bis 14. April 2010 in Portland / Oregon at the Building Enclosure Science & Technology Conference www.thebestconference.org

Dr. Buxbaum will establish at the „Building Science – Research & Test Unit“ in Austria in 2010 a Test Institute, where we can measure construction details under realistic conditions. Scientifically we are able to see the heat loss, moisture behavior and realistic Insulation values of diverse Construction materials.
